The Rai Dynasty

The Rai Dynasty was a ruling dynasty of the Kingdom of Nepal that existed from 1768 to 1846. The dynasty was founded by Prithvi Narayan Shah, who united several small kingdoms to form the modern nation of Nepal. The Rai dynasty saw the expansion of Nepal's territory and the development of a centralized government. However, the dynasty also faced internal conflicts and pressure from neighboring British India, ultimately leading to its downfall in 1846.
