Vikramaditya VI was a king of the Western Chalukya Empire in India, who reigned from c. 1076 to 1126 CE. He is considered to be one of the greatest kings of the Western Chalukya dynasty and is known for his military conquests and patronage of scholars and poets. He also made efforts to improve the administration of his kingdom, and is credited with building many temples and other architectural structures. He ruled from the city of Kalyani in present-day Karnataka state.
