 The Gandhara Kingdom was an ancient kingdom located in present-day Pakistan and parts of Afghanistan. The kingdom existed from the 6th century BCE to the 11th century CE, and was known for its art and architecture, particularly the Gandharan style of Buddhist art, which is characterized by the use of Greek and Roman techniques. The Gandharan civilization was also known for its strong cultural and economic ties to India and Central Asia.
