Short Biography Pulakeshin II

 Pulakeshin II was a king of the Chalukya dynasty, which ruled parts of southern and central India from the 6th to the 12th centuries. He is considered one of the greatest rulers of the dynasty and is known for his military conquests and for building many temples and other architectural monuments. He reigned from around 610 to642 AD. During his reign, the Chalukya kingdom reached its peak of power and prosperity. Pulakeshin II defeated many powerful rulers and expanded his kingdom to include parts of present-day Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
