Yashovarman was a king of the Khmer Empire, which ruled much of what is now Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam from the 9th to the 15th centuries. He ruled from 889 to 900 AD and is best known for building the temple complex of Phnom Rung in present-day Thailand.
