Vishnugupta, also known as Chanakya or Kautilya, was a 4th-century BCE Indian economist, philosopher, and royal advisor. He is considered to be one of the most important figures in Indian history and is known for his work "Arthashastra," a treatise on statecraft, economic policy, and military strategy. He is also credited with being the architect of the Maurya Empire, one of the largest and most powerful empires of ancient India.
