Short Biography of Tarabai

 Tarabai was a queen regent of the Maratha Empire in India, who ruled from 1689 to 1707. She was the wife of Raja Rajaram, the younger half-brother of Chhatrapati Shivaji, the founder of the Maratha Empire. Tarabai was a powerful and able ruler, who successfully defended the kingdom against the Mughal Empire and the rival claims of her own son, Raja Shivaji II. She is considered one of the most prominent female leaders in Maratha's history.
