Rana Sanga was a Rajput ruler and warrior king of Mewar in Rajasthan, India. He ruled from 1509 to 1527, and is considered one of the most powerful and able Rajput rulers of his time. Sanga was known for his military campaigns and for his alliances with other Rajput states, as well as his resistance against the Mughal Empire. He was killed in battle in 1528 while fighting against the Mughals.
