Short Biobraphy of Ajatashatru

 Ajatashatru was a king of the Haryanka dynasty of ancient India, who ruled the Magadha kingdom during the 6th century BCE. He is best known for his fierce military campaigns against the neighboring kingdoms, as well as for his conflicts with his own father and predecessor, Bimbisara. Ajatashatru is also mentioned in ancient Buddhist texts as an important patron of the religion and as a contemporary of the Buddha.
